"Set peace of mind as your highest goal and organize your life around it."

Mission Statement

To provide guidance and healing through therapeutic interventions

We all have trials that cause us to get off balance.  Our innate ability to survive through fight, flight, or freeze, keeps us going.  When the challenges in life begin to outweigh the joy, we can get stuck in survival mode.  It is my belief that everyone can overcome challenges and bring their life back to a place of balance.  It is my desire to assist in this process by developing a person or group specific plan that promotes healing of the mind, body, and spirit.

A Place for Peace Logo

The lotus flower is seen as a symbol of rebirth.  It is able to emerge perfectly clean from murky water. It is associated with purity, spiritual awakening, and faithfulness.  The color blue is associated with trust and responsibility.  Blue reduces stress and seeks to create peace and tranquility.  The color blue enhances self-expression and our ability to communicate our wants and needs.  The color orange is associated with warmth and happiness.  It relates to our gut instinct and offers emotional strength in difficult times.  The color orange brings a positive outlook on life.

These elements were chosen specifically to represent the mission and vision for A Place for Peace.
